Christoph Eppacher was invited for a 3-day paramtric design workshop at the University of Lincoln/UK. Many thank´s to Alex Graef for this kind invitation and his high encouragement during the workshop.
workshop brief:
Based on the contemporary discussion about parametric design and scripting design techniques we will concentrate our investigations on Rhino , Rhino´s VB-Script and Rhino´s new Grasshopper Plugin . This tools should help you to produce digital and physical design models and prototypes. We are using the 3D-Printer and Lasercutter to produce a series of different outputs. We want to discuss the differences and possibilities of scripting based results according to traditional modelling techniques and think about the possibilities to imply this new tools into your design process.
